BnM has operated in Ireland for over 90 years, and in recent years it has undergone transformative change to become one of the country’s leading renewable energy providers.
Ireland has committed to the achievement of ambitious climate action goals by the end of the decade and a net zero target by 2050. BnM recognises the significant role that renewable energy plays in accelerating this transition, and it is fully committed to building a secure supply of clean, renewable energy to power homes and businesses nationwide sustainably.
Working with its landbank, strategic partners and local communities, BnM is creating a 5GW renewable energy pipeline, including onshore and offshore wind, solar, biomass and biogas projects – with the aim of enabling industrial growth while contributing to Ireland’s sustainable future.
Supporting communities across Ireland has been a priority for BnM since it was first established, and today it continues to support business and local communities not only by safeguarding renewable energy supply, but also through its dedicated programme of community initiatives including community benefit funds, Mount Lucas Wind Farm, Lough Boora Discovery Park, our business accelerator Accelerate Green, our Pathways to the Future educational supports and other initiatives.
